Could BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE Top Next Week's BILLBOARD Album Chart?
January 31, 2008According to Hits Daily Double (the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS),BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's sophomore album, "Scream Aim Fire", is poised to sell between 45,000 and 50,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release. This number would put it in a race for the No. 1 slot on next week's The Billboard 200 chart with Universal Motown's debuting prog-rockers MARS VOLTA, ALICIA KEYS, Rhino's resilient "Juno" soundtrack and the "Grammy Nominees 2008" compilation on Hip-O/UMe.
Based on one-day sales figures, it is looking like next Tuesday's HITS album chart will feature the lowest-selling No. 1 entry in modern history, according to the site.
